Parent/Child Relationships
Parenting a teen or young adult often brings challenges and questions you never expected. If you're feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or just in need of guidance, you're not alone — and you don’t have to navigate this on your own. I’m here to walk alongside you and your child, offering support, clarity, and a path forward. Whether you're facing anxiety, identity exploration, life pressures, or difficult behaviors, there is a way through. Even in the toughest moments, healing, growth, and deeper connection are absolutely possible.
I specialize in working with parents and grandparents of estranged children. If you've lost contact with your adult child, are being blamed for their issues, or are having trouble understanding what's happening with your child, I can help.
In addition, I work with teens and young adults who are navigating life transitions, emotional struggles, and addictive or high-risk behaviors. With a foundation in clinical mental health counseling, additional training in addiction, and over 18 years of experience as a pediatric nurse, I bring both compassion and expertise to this work. My approach helps clients discover who they are and what they’re capable of achieving.
Addiction Counseling
I offer addiction counseling for sober individuals who need help staying that way and navigating life either post-rehab or post-active addiction. I've worked in an outpatient rehab for a long time and I see that there is a great need for therapy during the transitional time of leaving rehab and rejoining the world as a sober individual. My passion lies in assisting clients through this period of their life.
I do not work with individuals who are in active addiction, or who are in a fragile sober state.
